Please avoid the following improper use

4. The use of springless springs

5. Regarding the spring diameter of the spring and guide pin

On the contrary, if the clearance is too large, the winding spring will be distorted and broken. The best is the inner diameter of the spring. About 1.0mm. For long springs with long free length (free length/outer diameter greater than 4), use a step or guide pin to avoid collision with the guide pin when the spring body is twisted.

6. When the flatness of the mounting surface is poor

When the parallelism of the assembly surface is poor, it will cause the winding spring to be distorted, and local high pressure fracture will occur. When the parallelism is poor, the winding spring will be distorted and over 300,000 cycles will cause the winding spring to break. Please improve the parallelism of the mounting surface under a condition of no more than 300,000 uses.

7. Spring outside diameter and countersunk hole

If the countersunk hole and spring spring head is too small, the force of the concentrated and fractured countersunk hole will cause the stress to concentrate and break due to the winding spring spring. The preferred countersink diameter is the spring length of the spring +1.5mm. Use a countersunk hole for longer springs.

8. When the guide pin length and the countersink depth are short

If the guide pin is too short, it will cause the guide pin head and the spring spring to wear and break. The ideal length of the guide pin is set to be more than 1/2 of the spring length of the spring, and please invert the chamfer of C3.

9. Use of clock springs in series

When used in series, the winding spring is bent and exceeds the length of the guide pin or countersink, thereby causing a breakage of the same cause, and a larger spring due to a slight difference in the load of the spring. Broken face.
