A spring is a mechanical part that uses elasticity to work. It is usually made of spring steel. It is widely used in machines and meters to control the motion of parts, ease impact or vibration, store energy, and measure the size of force. The types of springs are complex and varied. According to the shape, there are mainly spiral springs, springs, and springs.
Please avoid the following improper use
1.Using more than the maximum amount of springs (300,000 times the conditions, the use of long-lasting contacts)
The pressure is generated and then the breakage is caused. Close to the long use, the spring wire of the spring spring is gradually dense, because the height of the spring of the spring becomes higher and the load curve becomes higher, and the high spring stress is generated. Break, please do not use more than 300,000 times.
2. Clock springs are used horizontally
When the spring is used horizontally, the guide pin and the spring spring will wear and break.
3. Use without preload
Because of the clearance, the winding spring will cause the winding spring to distort due to the up and down vibration. If there is pre-pressing, the winding spring is more stable.
4. The use of springless springs
If used in the case of a spring spring, it can easily cause distortion of the bottom of the spring and the main body. The local high pressure of the twisted part is the cause of the break of the spring. Please use the inner diameter guide pin or Outside diameter guide and other devices.
5. Regarding the spring diameter of the spring and guide pin
If the gap between the guide pin and the guide pin is too small, it will cause collision abrasion of the inner diameter. The wear part is the cause of the spring winding breakage. On the contrary, if the clearance is too large, the winding spring will be distorted and broken. The best is the inner diameter of the spring. About 1.0mm. For long springs with long free length (free length/outer diameter greater than 4), use a step or guide pin to avoid collision with the guide pin when the spring body is twisted.
6. When the flatness of the mounting surface is poor
When the parallelism of the assembly surface is poor, it will cause the winding spring to be distorted, and local high pressure fracture will occur. When the parallelism is poor, the winding spring will be distorted and over 300,000 cycles will cause the winding spring to break. Please improve the parallelism of the mounting surface under a condition of no more than 300,000 uses.
7. Spring outside diameter and countersunk hole
If the countersunk hole and spring spring head is too small, the force of the concentrated and fractured countersunk hole will cause the stress to concentrate and break due to the winding spring spring. The preferred countersink diameter is the spring length of the spring +1.5mm. Use a countersunk hole for longer springs.
8. When the guide pin length and the countersink depth are short
If the guide pin is too short, it will cause the guide pin head and the spring spring to wear and break. The ideal length of the guide pin is set to be more than 1/2 of the spring length of the spring, and please invert the chamfer of C3.
9. Use of clock springs in series
When used in series, the winding spring is bent and exceeds the length of the guide pin or countersink, thereby causing a breakage of the same cause, and a larger spring due to a slight difference in the load of the spring. Broken face.
